Writer's Block

Writer's Block

It could have been somewhere else, but I think I saw it first at Science Central. It was a little sign on a wall and read DWYSYGTD. I didn’t know what it meant. But, today I live by its meaning. My business and personal lives are dictated by those letters.

At Business People magazine, we strive to achieve perfection. We work hard to ensure that all of the publications we produce have zero errors. When you publish numerous magazines, often two or three each month, with thousands of words in each one, perfection can seem like an unreasonable, fleeting goal. But, if you don’t set goals, how do you know what to do next?

We’re all human. We make mistakes. We don’t always achieve the goals we set for ourselves. If you don’t have a vision, if you don’t build a map to your success, there is a excellent chance you will not achieve the life you want.

I haven’t forgotten to tell you more about DWYSYGTD. Those are the first letters of each of these words: Do What You Say You’re Going To Do. If you don’t already know how important it is to stay true to your word, now is as good a time as any to begin. It’s one of our goals.

My staff and I know our goals and every day we strive to achieve them.
