Reason for Celebrating...
Over 20 local students will be honored at this year’s 360AWARDS on Sept. 19 at the MIRRO Center.

The 360AWARDS is a unique event designed to celebrate local middle school and high school students who are making a positive difference in their home, school and community. Nominated students will receive a crystal award designed by Indiana Signworks, be honored at the benefit event and will have the opportunity to be chosen as a recipient of a $1,000 scholarship given by Parkview Health.

Company History…
The RespectTeam, a local nonprofit that began in 2015, speaks to thousands of middle school and high school students in a health classroom setting about the importance of self-respect and respect of others. The nonprofit speaks to schools across Allen, Dekalb, Noble and Whitley counties. There are currently five speakers, including Amy Hanna, the director of the RespectTeam.

The RespectTeam also holds Empowerment Sessions for anyone that lives with and/or works with a teenager. These sessions, that focus on various topics, are facilitated by local mental health professionals and are designed to provide information, connections to community resources and collaboration.

Mission Statement…
The RespectTeam encourages healthy self-respect and healthy respect of others through educational programs and relevant connections to the community.
