Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) prides itself on delivering excellent customer service to passengers and the community. Beginning in November, the airport is extending that idea into the way that passengers can park at the airport with the introduction of FWA’s Valet Parking Service.
Valet Parking Service will make its FWA debut just in time for holiday travel with Republic Parking System, LLC. Republic Parking System currently manages the airport’s parking facilities and will oversee the management and staffing of the new service. Using the valet service will be easy for passengers flying out of FWA. Passengers will simply pull their vehicle up to the valet parking booth located along the terminal drive and provide the parking attendant with their flight information. The attendant will then take the passenger’s keys and park their vehicle in the designated parking area. Once the passenger returns to FWA, the valet parking attendant will have their vehicle ready and waiting at the curb. Once the service is up and running, a mobile app will also be used to make valet parking even more convenient.
This new service will offer a way to make traveling from your local airport even more easy and efficient, while further extending FWA’s focus on customer service. Known as one of the friendliest airports in the nation because of the tradition of handing a fresh, local cookie to each arriving passenger, and dedication to showcasing “Hoosier Hospitality,” this new service will further emphasize FWA’s commitment to delivering exemplary customer service to its community and passengers. Valet Parking Service joins a list of services and amenities that aim to go the extra mile for passengers and guests. These amenities include free Wifi throughout the terminal, our business center, charging stations, complimentary parking lot shuttle, indoor pet relief area, a free cookie upon arrival and more.
The debut of Valet Parking Service coincides with the completion of FWA’s months-long terminal entrance road project, which was completed at the end of October. This project relocated the terminal entrance and road for a more streamlined flow of traffic, as well as the space and ability for future growth of the airport. Both the new valet service and the new terminal road are a testament to the growth the airport has been experiencing over the years – identifying new needs and ways to better serve passengers.
FWA’s Valet Parking Service is available to all passengers for a daily rate of $16 per day.
