With over 80 years of combined experience, the certified financial planners at Jehl & Kreilach Financial Management take a comprehensive and holistic planning approach to provide expert direction, individual attention and fiduciary oversight for each of their clients. Jehl & Kreilach’s approach to client relationships sets the firm apart from other financial management companies, an attractive quality drawing financial consultant Cameron Collier to become part of its team. “We want clients to understand that we are here to walk beside and encourage them throughout the journey,” he says. “We want to work with those who take ownership of their financial future. We will provide expert advice, tools, resources and encouragement to help overcome barriers to success, but we can’t do it for them. That’s where the concept of coaching fits extremely well.”

The Wealth Coaching Process allows Collier and his colleagues to identify and analyze their client’s financial strengths, weaknesses and needs to build an appropriate plan to fit their individual circumstances. “We strive to help people through the process and give them the tools they need to help them develop and clarify their wants, values and passions,” Collier says. “We do make recommendations, but ultimately we want them to be the ones to make decisions.”

A key component to the Wealth Coaching Process is that, once the clients are equipped with the proper tools, the financial experts at Jehl & Kreilach explain to clients how to implement those tools and put their financial plans into action. It is also important to keep in mind each client’s situation and goals differ from one to the next, so what may work for one person at one point in time might not be effective or appropriate for another. Sometimes adjustments in financial plans need to be made and that’s where the individualized attention and focused maintenance come into play during the coaching process.

“Throughout the process, it’s like a routine check up,” Collier says. “How are we doing? Has anything changed? What’s going to happen in your life in the next 12 months that might inform us on the recommendations we provide?”

Jehl & Kreilach maintains a firm understanding of each client’s financial needs, clarity regarding priorities and provides guidance, motivation and support in implementing each plan. It also uses the latest technology to give each client a personal Wealth Management website to keep them engaged and in control.

“We have deep, engaging conversations with all of our clients, and we want to help them make well-informed decisions that are in line with their hopes, dreams, aspirations and values,” Collier says.
