Barrett McNagny LLP is celebrating George Pappas joining the firm as a partner who will practice in the firm’s intellectual property group. Pappas has over thirty years’ experience working with companies and entrepreneurs to secure, enforce and defend intellectual property. He is a registered patent attorney and regularly represents clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in patent and trademark matters.
Pappas has worked with businesses throughout the Midwest and the U.S. to obtain patents protecting their inventions and methods and has handled matters involving the licensing, prosecution and infringement of patents. He has extensive experience in registering and defending trademarks and trade dress, protecting copyrights and establishing and protecting trade secrets. Pappas joins John Barce, Patrick Murphy and Evan Weaks in Barrett’s intellectual property group.
