GiGi's Playhouse Fort Wayne

GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne would like to introduce its new executive director, Maria Tippmann-Nancarrow. Maria is a Fort Wayne native who has several years of experience with nonprofit organizations. She plans to expand the programming and spread awareness for individuals with Down syndrome as she takes on her new role. Prior to coming to GiGi’s Playhouse, Maria was the director of fund development and marketing for Saint Anne Communities. She enjoys giving back to the community and has served on various committees, helping organizations by raising funds to support their mission. She currently serves as a board member for Right to Life of Northeast Indiana and is a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters. 

GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne provides support for individuals with Down syndrome as well as their families, offering services that range from prenatal diagnosis to career development stages. It offers free, purposeful and therapeutic-based programming that helps with life skills to career development skills.

The mission of GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne is to change the way the world sees Down syndrome and to spread a global message of acceptance for everyone with disabilities.
