On June 14, 2022, over 400 community members gathered in support of Erin’s House for Grieving Children’s annual Common Bond Breakfast at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Supporters enjoyed a delicious breakfast while listening to keynote speaker Ben Nemtin; best-selling author, mental health advocate and one of the world’s top motivational speakers. The coveted Healing Heart Award was presented to Kristi Abel for her exceptional volunteerism over the past 10 years. Over $76,000 was generously raised through the event which enables Erin’s House to continue providing services at no cost to children, teens and families who have experienced death.
