After a four year hiatus, Middle Waves Music Festival made its 2022 return in June. This year’s festival took place at Foellinger Theatre with 25 local and national musical acts, and over 30 vendors provided goods, services and smiles throughout the weekend. GRAMMY® award-winning hip-hop artist Big Boi brought the house down with his energetic performance and threw it back with some Outkast classics and special performer Sleepy Brown. Young the Giant, an American rock band known for their chart-topping hits like “My Body and Apartment,” closed out the festival on Saturday night. Middle Waves’ mission is to connect the northeast Indiana region through unique, jaw-dropping, pride-inducing music and art experiences.
