Blessings In A Backpack Fort Wayne held its annual Celebrity Chef Dinner fundraising event on Oct. 19, 2022 at Sycamore Hills Golf Club. This year’s dinner featured Chicago area Chef Matthias Merges. Chef Merges is a protégé’ of Chef Charlie Trotter. This event is a major source of support for the Blessings In A Backpack weekend food program, which feeds all of the students at seven area elementary schools.
