Camp Red Cedar hosted its first ever Boots & Bourbon fundraiser event on March 2, 2023. Close to 200 guests came together to enjoy bourbon/whiskey tastings, live and silent auctions, heavy hor d’oeuvres and drinks from a variety of area restaurants and caterers, live blue grass music, a horse meet and greet, and more as part of the classy country event. Through sponsorships, ticket sales, live/silent auctions and free-will donations, the event raised nearly $88,000. All proceeds will support Camp Red Cedar’s mission of encouraging children and adults of all abilities to move beyond their boundaries through recreational activities, outdoor education, creative arts and interaction with horses, in an integrated environment.
