On April 27, 2023, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne hosted over 250 guests at its annual Greek-themed gala, raising funds to build safe, affordable housing. This year, Habitat has continued to grow and plans to build 20 homes in the Greater Fort Wayne area for qualified families. Since its inception in 2018, ReStore Your Passion has helped Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne build nine homes through community sponsorships, ticket sales, donated raffle items, crowdfunding and the auction of the Goddess Contractor team pieces. Goddess Contractors or GCs (a play off the term general contractor) are female community leaders who refurbish furniture items donated through Habitat ReStore. Each one-of-a-kind, secondhand piece is auctioned off the night of the gala.
