What book has had the greatest impact on you? The Bible.

What famous person would you most like to meet? Barack Obama.

What do you actually do at your job? I perform spinal surgery.

What do you love most about Fort Wayne? My family.

What was your first job? Landscaping.

What is your greatest accomplishment? My five children.

Who is your hero? My dad.

What is your dream job? I’m doing it!

What is your biggest pet peeve? Laziness.

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party (living, dead, famous, real or fictional)? Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., Barack Obama, Malcom X and Michael Jordan.

If you had a time machine, where and to what time period would you travel? America in 2070.

Who would you like to see perform in concert? Beyoncé. 

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Africa.

What does your workout regimen consist of? Several different things — the treadmill, bike, elliptical and light weights.

What profession would you never try? Airline pilot or professional skydiver.

If you could solve one major problem, what would it be? Racism.

What’s one thing you can’t live without? Love.

What’s your biggest fear? Dying before my kids become adults.

Name one person who has inspired you in your life. Dr. R.B. Wilson.

What is one important skill you think everyone should have? Know how to swim.

What skill would you like to master? Public speaking.

If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you win a medal in? Sleeping at sporting events.

What fad do you wish would come back or stay gone forever? Platform shoes should stay gone.

What age do you wish you could permanently be and why? I’d like to be in my 40s for health and maturity.

What was the last gift you gave someone? A car.

What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten? Alligator.

What is the most productive time of day for you? Very early morning.

If you had to teach someone one thing, what would you teach? Hard work and perseverance.

What moment in your life would you most like to go back and relive? The birth of my children.
