Turnstone celebrated 80 years of service to the community during its annual Board of Directors’ Gala on Oct. 5, 2023 in its very own Plassman Athletic Center Fieldhouse. During the fundraising event, Turnstone hosted a silent and live auction, as well as premium wine sales and a Bradley Gough Diamond jewelry giveaway. Turnstone also recognized client, Kirsten Schultz, during its “Mission Moment.” Thanks to generous donors, community partners and attendees, over $300,000 was raised in support of Turnstone’s mission to empower people with disabilities. The funds raised will have double the impact, thanks to a match that has been received by The State of Indiana. This money will match all donations up to a million dollars until June 30, 2024. The Board of Directors’ Gala is just the beginning of Turnstone’s 80th birthday celebration, which will continue into the end of the year.
