Do you have a nickname? Glo. I got it from my 5th grade teacher who is now a preschool teacher at my son’s school.
In what city did you grow up? Roanoke, Indiana, pre-all-the-cool-things that are now in Roanoke.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? An art teacher.
What is your favorite part of your job? All of my co-workers. I work with some pretty neat and talented people.
What do you actually do at your job? I make sure that the practice runs as smoothly as possible by ensuring we are compliant, that we communicate and have fun getting people better.
What is your greatest accomplishment? Being a mom and raising two smart, happy boys.
Who is your hero? My three sisters.
What is your dream job? A wedding planner.
Do you have a motto you live by? If so, what is it? Almost everything is fixable, one day at a time, and practice makes better.
What would you choose as your last meal? Truffle french fries and a smash burger.
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party (living, dead, famous, real or fictional)? Robin Williams, Shaq, Amelia Earhart, Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts.
If you had a time machine, where and to what time period would you travel? The 70s! Give me all the platform shoes, bellbottoms and great music.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? I hear Tasmania, an island state of Australia, is the most beautiful place.
What profession would you never try? Law enforcement.
If you could solve one major problem, what would it be? As someone in the health care industry, I am all for streamlining processes and reducing the burdensome amount of red tape providers face with authorizations and documentation guidelines. Health care professionals enter the field with a desire to help people, but the excessive red tape can lead to burnout.
Where will you go on your next vacation? Marco Island, Florida with my family.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given? Lean into the uncomfortable things that life throws you.
What is the best gift you have ever been given? My KitchenAid mixer.
Name one person who has inspired you in your life. My mom. She has endured numerous challenges as an immigrant to the U.S. all while raising five children with my dad. Because of her strong work ethic, we never went without and she has ingrained in me to prioritize family first.
What is one important skill you think everyone should have? Problem-solving skills.
What age do you wish you could permanently be and why? I’ve enjoyed every stage that life has thrown at me. Some have been more awkward and difficult, but all very enjoyable.
Who was your first celebrity crush? Jonathan Taylor Thomas.
What was the last gift you gave someone? I gave the ladies in our administrative office hand massagers because they work hard on the computer all day long.
What is the most productive time of day for you? Night time, when the kiddos are tucked in bed.
If you could know the answer to one of life’s mysteries, which mystery would you choose? I know there is an answer, but I have always been baffled by analog fax machines!

When was the last time you cried and why? I cry all of the time — commercials, TikTok, something funny, sad — you name it, I cry.
What is something that never fails to make you laugh? “Mrs. Doubtfire.”

What famous person would you most like to meet? Julia Roberts.
What do you love most about Fort Wayne? Fort Wayne is a big/little city that values family and feels like a small town.
What was your first job? Not including babysitting, I worked at The Children’s Place at Jefferson Pointe in high school.
What is your biggest pet peeve? A messy kitchen.
What three items would you want with you if you were stranded on a desert island (other than food and water)? If I had to choose three people that would be my husband and two boys. My husband is very resourceful. My three items would be shelter, a fire starter and clothes.

What does your workout regimen consist of? I try to get on my Peloton two or three times a week.
What’s one thing you can’t live without? My family.
If you could give your 15 year-old self advice, what would it be? It’s ok to be different!

What skill would you like to master? The ability to focus.
What fad do you wish would come back or stay gone forever? I’m over the 90s fashion making a comeback.
If you could send a message to the entire world, what would you say in 30 seconds? Get off your devices and enjoy your surroundings.
If you received enough money to never need to work again, what would you spend your time doing? I would spend time with my husband and kids traveling.
When was the last time you tried something new? The last major thing was traveling outside of the U.S. for the first time to Costa Rica.
What gets you excited and driven to achieve? Being able to make a difference in whatever task I am trying to accomplish.
What moment in your life would you most like to go back and relive? My wedding! It was such a fun night celebrating with friends and family.
When were you happiest? I’m the happiest when I am on vacation with my people.
