Canterbury School’s annual Laughing Cavalier celebrates the Canterbury community while also garnering financial support for the school. Since the late 80s, the event has been one of Canterbury’s favorite traditions. This year, it was held on April 13 in the Electric Works Forum with more than 200 in attendance for hors d’oeuvres, drinks and dancing to the sounds of The Hubie Ashcraft Band. Attendees were encouraged to dress in “sneaker chic.” Support received was delegated to playground upgrades, technology improvements and library resources, as well as the general Canterbury Fund.
