The Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne premiered Women Rock, its fourth-anniversary fundraiser at The Chateau on Broadway on Thursday, Aug. 29. Nearly 200 supporters of the Women’s Fund came together, celebrating its accomplishments over the last year while raising $30,000 for future initiatives. The event featured an incredible lineup of all-female-fronted bands and musicians, including deeja, Rainee Perdue and Eliza Toth. Women Rock highlighted the organization’s key focus areas: Economic Security, Personal Safety, and Young Women and Girls. Committee Chairs and community partners provided valuable insights into critical issues facing our community and the innovative solutions being championed.
