Employee and supplier generosity at its annual golf outing, first Tailgate Party, and first of its kind on-site Spirit Week led to a heartfelt donation from Fort Wayne Metals to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne. The goal this year was to expand the long-standing golf outing tradition to include more individuals, whether they wanted to golf or not. The tailgate party took place alongside the golf outing, held for the first time at Colonial Oaks Golf Club, and included singo (song bingo), trivia, music, food, beverages and more for those in attendance. Spirit Week gave employees the opportunity to dress according to theme days for a small donation, no matter where they work.
