Well, here we are in 2025. It seems like just a few days ago it was 2024. This is the 38th year of Business People magazine.
We started in 1987 and have been going strong since then. We have published more than 2,300 stories about local and regional businesses. In some small way, I am hopeful that the businesses we have featured can say that the exposure they received has helped them achieve a higher level of recognition throughout northeast Indiana.
Our advertisers are the foundation of this magazine. We have outstanding advertisers that continue to support our efforts to help the businesses of northeast Indiana grow. When you read Business People, whether it be a hard copy that can be found in most business lobbies, or online at businesspeople.com, I hope you will notice the ads and patronize the companies and organizations that you see advertising.

Fort Wayne International Airport is in the final stages of a massive remodel and expansion known as Project Gateway. The changes so far are absolutely beautiful. The final product, which I believe will be in place by late fall this year, will be nothing short of spectacular. And, air travel through FWA set a record in 2024.
