On Oct. 30, 2024, more than 250 community stakeholders, area K-12 and higher education leadership, educators, philanthropists, nonprofits and business leaders joined the Don Wood Foundation and Questa Education Foundation for a breakfast event where findings from the recent Advancing Postsecondary Education and Training Study (APETS) were presented. Held at the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation, the event provided a platform for dialogue on how to address barriers in postsecondary education. This gathering featured key strategies to improve postsecondary educational attainment in northeast Indiana and lay the groundwork for a new coalition aimed at tackling the region’s critical talent shortages.
