Fort Wayne’s oldest credit union is celebrating a huge milestone and dedication to its community with the opening of its brand new facility. Standing at 4025 W. Jefferson Blvd., PSCU’s new 5,600 square foot state-of-the-art building features private interactive rooms, modern teller pods and a two-lane drive-thru with ATM.
Current CEO Carolyn Mikesell began at the credit union in 2004 and has transformed PSCU into a stable, thriving institution for its members. At PSCU, members share profits with the credit union by earning higher interest rates, paying lower loan rates and accessing cutting-edge technology.
Public Service Credit Union was started by Clarence Hensch in 1932 with a $25 loan to buy a cow. Since then, PSCU has helped people obtain a wide variety of loans and serves anyone who lives or works in Allen County.
The credit union’s dedication to the city of Fort Wayne and Allen County is unmatched by giving back to the local community in multiple ways throughout the year. To name just a few, PSCU collects and donates school supplies for Waynedale Elementary, sponsors a Christmas family and allows employees time to volunteer with organizations of their choice such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Junior Achievement.
While we love celebrating this new building, we also love celebrating member’s financial successes. Discover the PSCU difference by stopping in today!
