Expanding Services

After ten years in business, 2020 promises to be an exciting year for the staff at Belle Santé Medical Spa. As the staff celebrates its anniversary, they’re marking the milestone with plans for a big expansion. Located adjacent to Fort Wayne Endocrinology on Jefferson Boulevard, Belle Santé has outgrown its current space. 

“We’re adding another 2,000 square feet and we’ll have our own entrance, which will be great,” says office manager Lynn Blanchard. “We’ll have a larger reception area, two aesthetic rooms, two injectable rooms and a room for massages that we’re going to start offering.”

Blanchard is especially looking forward to having a new infrared sauna, which she says has proven to be effective with aiding in weight loss, improving blood circulation, reducing inflammation and eliminating chemicals and toxins in the body.

“We also do Botox^®, micro-needling, fillers, CoolSculpting^®, laser skin treatments, laser hair removal, spray tans and a variety of facials,” Blanchard says. “What makes us different from a more traditional spa is that we’re licensed to do those invasive procedures. We’re highly trained and certified to provide those services.”

Blanchard says the demand for minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures has grown in recent years, so the upcoming expansion is necessary to accommodate clients of all ages who are searching for ways to look and feel better as they get older. 

“We primarily see women – about 90 percent of our clients are women – but we are definitely seeing more men who want our services,” says Blanchard. “Really, anyone age 20 and up would benefit from taking care of their skin, making sure they are keeping it hydrated and using good medical-grade anti-aging products that make their skin look fresh.” 

Belle Santé is under the direction of endocrinologist Dr. Ashok Kadambi.

“You often see medical spas associated with plastic surgeons, but what’s really nice about endocrinology is that it focuses on women with hormonal issues, or fluctuations in their weight or maybe they have dry skin. Dr. Kadambi works from the inside and the spa helps them on the outside,” Blanchard explains. 

Crews will break ground on the expansion in March and should wrap up by early summer. Belle Santé will remain open during construction, providing the top-notch care that it has become known for over the last decade. 

“We truly want to provide the best experience possible. We want our clients to be comfortable while they’re here. And when they leave, we want them to feel better about themselves,” Blanchard concludes. “We take great pride in that.”
